Hyderabad: The BJP on Friday dared chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to file defamation cases against its party leaders for criticising the state government. The party also demanded an unconditional apology from the chief minister for making derogatory remarks against BJP state president K Laxman.
Addressing a press conference, party MLC S Ramachandra Rao and spokesperson Krishna Sagar Rao, said the ruling party's president was resorting to undemocratic and feudal methods to wipe out opposition parties, which acted as watchdogs of the state.
"This is not the first time. Earlier too Chandrasekhar Rao threatened the media in Warangal. We will continue to expose the misdeeds of this government," Ramchander Rao said.
