Ganja, fake diamonds seized

Warangal: Venkatapur Police on Monday seized 110 kg of ganja, four fake diamonds and gold biscuits while raiding a poultry farm between Palampet and Venkatapur.
On seeing the men in khaki, Ibrahim Baba, D Veeranna and Ameer Khan tried to abscond. But they were caught and `1.10 lakh was recovered from their possession. They confessed to handling ganja and said they had duped the people by promising to sell them diamonds and gold biscuits at prices lower than the market rate.
