HYDERABAD: Alleging that the BRS government is stalling tribal reservation by linking it to Muslim quota issue, BJP state chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar demanded on Sunday that chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao release a white paper on what his government has done for tribals over the last nine years.
Addressing BJP booth committee members in Mulugu, Sanjay said that
KCR had promised to implement 12% reservations for Scheduled Tribes before the assembly elections, but had deliberately not done so by linking it to Muslim quota.
Sanjay accused KCR of defrauding tribals by not providing title deeds for Podu lands. The CM has not allotted land even for a tribal University in Mulugu in all these years, he claimed.
“Do we re-elect this chief minister who spent crores of rupees to defeat an adivasi woman, Droupadi Murmu, in the last presidential elections? While the Narendra Modi cabinet at the Centre has accommodated 12 STs, KCR has only one ST in his cabinet,” he said.
Sanjay claimed that the BRS was ruling
Telangana like TMC in West Bengal by terrorising opposition leaders who question the KCR government.
“We are going to establish ‘Ram Rajya’ in Telangana very soon and we will drive away KCR and his family,” he said.
