Three injured as security guard's gun goes off

HYDERABAD: Three customers of Canara Bank, Chikkadpally, suffered pellet injuries when the gun of an armed security guard at the bank accidentally misfired on Saturday.
The Chikkadpally police said M Sridhar, B Vinod, D Koteshwari, who went to the bank, suffered minor injuries when the gun of security guard V Kamalesh got misfired.
According to police, Kamalesh went to the bank at around 9 am and was moving with his doubled-barreled gun inside the bank.The gun suddenly fell down and misfired. Three customers suffered pellet injuries on their legs,'' Chikkadpally sub-inspector B Jeeva Ratnam said. The injured were shifted to a local hosptial and later discharged after providing them first aid.
