Water tanker crashes into over dozen vehicles after brake failure on Indore bridge, driver flees
INDORE: One person was injured when a Municipal Corporation water tanker allegedly went on a rampage after suffering brake failure on Patel Bridge in Indore on Thursday, hitting over a dozen vehicles and triggering panic among commuters.
The tanker damaged several cars and motorcycles before the driver managed to steer it onto a footpath and bring it to a halt, averting what could have been a major tragedy. Enraged locals vandalised the vehicle after the crash, while the driver reportedly fled the scene.
Police rushed to the spot, cleared the crowd and began efforts to restore traffic. An investigation has been launched to ascertain the circumstances that led to the accident.
