INDORE: Local politicians jumped into action as soon as news of the accident broke, and started helping relatives of victims reach the accident spot.
Congress seems to have stolen a march over the ruling party by reaching out first. Local Congress leaders circulated a WhatsApp message early Sunday morning, offering free transport to family members of victims.
"We have parked two four-wheelers at Indore railway station. Those who want to go to Kanpur or Bhopal to be with their family members can avail of the facility free of cost," said
Ajay Jha, a Congressman who was the in-charge of arranging transport. "We are here to help out people who don't have the means to reach the accident spot," Jha added.
