Aakash Tigers Mumbai Western Suburbs unveil team jersey; Rose Merc Limited joins as title sponsor
Aakash Tigers Mumbai Western Suburbs unveiled their official team jersey for the upcoming season in the presence of men’s team captain Sarfaraz Khan, Praveen Kalyan Amreb (Mentor) women’s team captain Humaira Kaazi, Laya Fran Francies (Mentor) sponsors and team owners at a ceremony held in Mumbai on Friday.
Joining them on the occasion were team owners Ram Jajodia, Aditi Aakash Jajodia, Kishor Jain, Sunil Mallik and Gurpal Singh.
Aakash Tigers will begin their campaign in the T20 Mumbai League against defending champions MSC Maratha Royals on Monday, while the women’s team will take on SoBo Mumbai Falcons on Wednesday.
On the occasion of the jersey unveiling, Purvesh Krishna Shelatkar, Executive Director, Rose Merc Limited, said, “Cricket has the unique power to inspire, unite and create opportunities for young talent. I am delighted to be associated with Aakash Tigers Mumbai Western Suburbs as they begin their journey in the T20 Mumbai League. Wishing the team great success for the season ahead”
Speaking on the occasion of the jersey launch, team owners Ram Jajodia and Aditi Aakash Jajodia said, “At Aakash Tigers Mumbai Western Suburbs, we are focused on building a strong and competitive culture within the team while creating a platform for talented players to showcase their abilities. We are delighted to have partners like Rose Merc Limited, Mt K Kapital, Ideabaaz Tech Pvt Ltd, and NB Equipments & Engineering Pvt. Ltd., who have not only supported us but have stood by us from the very beginning of this season.”
Further adding, “The team is prepared for the challenges ahead and determined to give its best in the league. The entire squad is feeling motivated and confident, and eagerly looking forward to delivering strong performances and winning the trophy for everyone associated with the franchise.”
