The Border Security Force on Thursday arrested a Bangladesh citizen from Munabao while he was trying to cross over to Pakistan.

JODHPUR: The Border Security Force on Thursday arrested a Bangladesh citizen from Munabao while he was trying to cross over to Pakistan. The BSF, after preliminary interrogation, handed him over to the police, who are now questioning him.
According to sources, a person was found trying to cross over the Indo-Pak border at around 4.00 pm on Wednesday near Munabao in Sajnani village, when the BSF personnel spotted him.

Finding his activities suspicious, they arrested him. On preliminary interrogation, he was identified as Bangladesh citizen Mohammad Shafiq (36) and was living in India for quite some time. He had earlier visited cities like Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi and had come from Jaipur and Jodhpur to Barmer and was planning to enter Pakistan. He told the BSF officials that he was trying to go to Pakistan in search of some work.
