Cong seeks Union edu min’s resignation over NEET leak
Jaipur: Congress Sunday demanded the resignation of Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the NEET paper leak.
Accusing BJP and RSS of compromising the integrity of the National Testing Agency (NTA), state Congress chief Govind Singh Dotasra alleged irregularities in NEET examinations conducted between 2024 and 2026 and claimed that the future of lakhs of students was jeopardised due to repeated paper leaks.
He reiterated the party’s demand for a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) probe, or an investigation monitored by a Supreme Court judge.
Quoting Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, Dotasra said the absence of an independent inquiry would strengthen suspicions that the alleged scam took place under govt protection.
Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot also targeted the govt, claiming NEET papers were leaking continuously over the past few years and that public anger over the issue was growing.
