Cop killed while chasing goons

Jaisalmer: Nawalgarh police station constable Bhimaram Nirmal was killed and the station officer was injured while chasing criminals in Gothda police station area of Nawalgarh sub-division in Jhunjhunu on Sunday.The vehicle of Nawalgarh police team, which was in pursuit of the criminals, was damaged after hitting a tree. Driver constable Bhimaram Nirmal and Nawalgarh station officer CI Ajay Singh, who were in the vehicle, were seriously injured. They were brought to Nawalgarh District Hospital, from where constable Bhimaram was referred to Sikar, given the severity of his condition. tnn
