Jan 31 deadline for Ayushman insurance premium
Jaipur: Health department has urged Ayushman Swasthya Bima Yojana beneficiaries to pay their premium by Jan 31, or else their cashless treatment benefits will be suspended for three months.
The department has also urged unregistered families to register for the scheme by Jan 31, which would make them eligible to receive benefits from Feb 1. Failing to do so would mean that benefits will only be available three months later, from May 1, officials said.
The state govt pays insurance premium for families that are registered under National Food Security Act, small and marginal farmers, contract workers, and families receiving Covid-19 relief. Other families can benefit from the scheme by paying a premium of Rs 850 annually. To register their families under the scheme, individuals can use their Jan Aadhaar card/Aadhaar card through an e-Mitra centre or their own SSO ID.
