JAIPUR: Chief minister Ashok Gehlot who was at Rajasthan University (RU) to inaugurate the student union office of University Law College announced that an athletic and synthetic track will be made at the university at a cost of Rs 6 crore.
While speaking at the ceremony, Gehlot said that the state government is always working for the youth and public with the motto of 'service is work, service is religion', but "instances of paper leaks bring a bad name to the government."
"Paper leaks are happening across the country and Rajasthan is one state that makes all arrangements from bus travel to food for students, but paper leaks upset us.

We have strict laws to stop such leaks and even sending the culprits to jail, we are also acting on the properties of those involved in such instances," said Gehlot.
The chief minister further said that Rajasthan is the first state, where there is a medical and nursing college in every district.
At the inauguration ceremony, Subhash Garg, minister of state for technical education said that the state government has already given 1.41 lakh government jobs and 1 lakh more jobs in the pipeline while another one lakh jobs for youth has been announced by the state government.
He also said that he will ensure that the Central Library at the university is opened completely at the earliest and can be used by students 24 hours.
