‘An ideal place to relieve stress’

Kochi: Sri Lankan tour operator Krishnagoby Thangavelu hopes to stay in business by promoting Kerala as an ideal destination for stress management programmes of western corporate institutions.
In Colombo, Thangavelu, had a successful tourism venture in Sri Lanka that attracted several foreigners to the country for ayurveda. But now the tourism industry in Sri Lanka suffers from delay in transport, fuel shortage and power cuts.“I am focusing on the western market. My objective in the KTM-2022 is to find suppliers like hoteliers, houseboats, homestays and tour operators from Kerala, who can offer products that suit my requirement,” he said.
KTM-2022 is being attended by delegates from 69 countries and has buyers from 25 states within the country. The four-day event will conclude on Sunday.
