Kottayam: Kerala Congress (Joseph) executive chairman Mons Joseph urged Congress to announce the chief minister without any delay and form the cabinet at the earliest. Speaking to a news channel in Kottayam on Tuesday, Mons did not criticize the delay but urged Congress to arrive at a consensus regarding the chief minister at the earliest.
He opined that the delay would affect UDF's spectacular win. He also said that KC(J), as well as other constituents of UDF, had intimated their stand about the CM to Congress leadership.
Joseph also said that KC(J) would stake claim for two ministerial berths during the UDF meeting. Seven KC(J) candidates were elected to the assembly.
