SFI activists clash with police during NEET question paper leak protest in Kottayam
Kottayam: A scuffle broke out between SFI district committee and the police on Wednesday during a protest march organised by the students' organisation at the head post office against the leak of the NEET examination question paper.Although police tried to block the activists at MC Road, the activists bypassed them and entered the office premises. The gate in front of the business post centre was damaged in the scuffle. A section of the grill on the wall also fell after the activists climbed over it. The demonstration took place around 12:30pm. The police team was stationed in front of the business centre. Meanwhile, anticipating that the protest would proceed along Temple Road to the main office, the police rushed there. However, the protestors circled around and proceeded via Thirunakkara to the front of the business centre, forcing the police to rush back. Activists who climbed over the business centre's wall reached the main office entrance and began a blockade. Police later removed them by force.
