CPM activist hacked near Perambra

Kozhikode: A CPM worker sustained injuries after being hacked by a group of assailants at Muthuvannacha near Perambra on Monday night.K Dineshan, 49, who was running a puja shop at Kuttiyadi, was allegedly attacked by a five-member gang when he was returning home on his motorbike around 8.15pm.Dineshan, a CPM branch committee member, sustained injuries on his head and hands in the attack and was rushed to Perambra taluk hospital and later shifted to Kozhikode govt medical college. CPM alleged that RSS was behind the attack.
