He wanted to shift to Lucknow for brighter future
Lucknow: Vishnu Yadav, 30, who came to Lucknow from Pratapgarh to finalise plans to shift here so that his two-and-a-half-year-old daughter could have a brighter future, was allegedly beaten to death by his in-laws in the Aashiana area on Tuesday night.A sales executive with an internet services company, Vishnu, had come to his in-laws' residence with his wife Sakshi and their child to help the girl meet her maternal grandparents and to discuss plans for settling in Lucknow. However, on Tuesday night, an argument reportedly broke out after dinner between him and his father-in-law, Teerthraj Singh, which soon escalated, ending into the tragedy. His brother Rohit Yadav recalled their last conversation. "I spoke to Vishnu around 8:30 pm on Tuesday. Everything seemed normal then. Around 10:30 pm, I received a call from a police officer informing me that my brother had been murdered," he said. Rohit added that Vishnu had been actively looking for good pre-schools and was serious about relocating permanently. "The family was his entire world. Every decision he made was for his daughter and for Sakshi. He came here with dreams of starting over, of giving them comfort and security," said Shanti, a relative of Vishnu, her voice breaking. "He walked in with hope in his heart… and never walked out. We never thought his search for a better tomorrow would end like this."
