Lucknow: In a key decision aimed at supporting small businesses, Laghu Udyog Bharati on Friday resolved to work closely with the Union Bank of India to simplify loan disbursement processes and address financing challenges faced by entrepreneurs.
The decision was taken at the organisation's AGM held in Gomti Nagar Extension, where members also outlined a roadmap for 2026–27 focusing on strengthening MSME growth and expanding activities in the Awadh region.
The meeting reviewed progress over the past year and discussed strategies to boost industrial development. Special emphasis was laid on easing access to credit, with bankers and industry representatives deliberating on reducing procedural hurdles for small and medium enterprises.
State president Ravindra Singh said the platform was not only meant for industrial growth but also for fostering stronger community ties among entrepreneurs.
Senior functionaries, including Swant Ranjan and national president Madhusudan Dadu, highlighted the role of small industries in economic development.
