Lakhimpur Kheri violence case live updates: Union minister's son arrested after 12 hours of questioning

Union minister of state for home Ajay Mishra's son Ashish Mishra has been arrested in connection with the Lakhimpur Kheri violence on Saturday. Senior Congress leader Kapil Sibal on Friday questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi's silence over the Lakhimpur Kheri incident, and said just "one word of sympathy" was needed from him.
