LDA to launch 3 residential schemes in June
Lucknow: The Lucknow Development Authority is set to launch three major residential schemes this month.
These schemes are Naimish Nagar in Bakshi Ka Talab, Varun Vihar on Mohan Road near the Agra Expressway, and Wellness City on Sultanpur Road. They are aimed at meeting the growing demand for housing and supporting planned urban expansion in the state capital.
According to LDA officials, preparations for registration, lottery and allotment are in the final stages.
Officials have been assigned to oversee the process, and detailed modalities for launching the schemes are being worked out.
The authority estimates that, once fully developed, the three projects will provide housing opportunities to more than six lakh people.
The first phase is expected to begin with registration for around 2,100 residential plots in the Kailash and Kashi blocks of the Naimish Nagar scheme. The project will include a network of 60-metre, 45-metre and 24-metre-wide roads. Plot allotments in all three schemes will be conducted through a lottery system.
