Show cause notice to inspector

kanpur: additional chief metropolitan magistrate first, hari nath pandey issued a showcause notice to inspector, kotwali in nukkad natak actor sanjiba’s case on thursday. the presiding officer has called for an explanation as to why the artiste was handcuffed when he was produced before him on tuesday. the kotwali police had arrested sanjiba and his associate prem pahalwan on the complaint of an advocate.according to the complainant, his feelings were hurt when the actor had played a nukkad drama wardi wala goonda. the police had produced the two artistes in a handcuff before the court. several advocates had gathered in support of sanjiba and got him bail on the same day.
