'Plan a routine and take break from books'
LUDHIANA: Managing your time and going according to your learning pace helps score big is Sahil Jain's advice to the city students preparing for boards. Having scored 94.6% in his Class XII board exams last year, the Tagore Nagar resident is now following his career goal of learning biotechnology under a degree course at Punjab Agricultural University. He says it was regular guidance from his teachers and a calculated approach to the syllabus that helped his score well in the medical stream in Class XII."With exams just a few days away, all the students face innumerable tasks, while having to deal with many distractions. It becomes very important to plan a routine and follow it with dedication to get the desired results," says Sahil. A diehard fan of Sachin Tendulkar, Sahil loves playing cricket every evening, but the last month before his exams he had parted from his bat as well."Not just my bat, I kept away from my phone and social networking too to avoid distraction and to spend as much time as possible with my books," he adds. The topper says he got all the important concepts, theorems, formulae and other doubts clarified with his teachers to avoid confusion at the eleventh hour.
