MANGALORE: Department of Dermatology, Father Muller Medical College (FMMC) in association with Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists (IADVL), IADVL Dermacon Charitable Trust and IADVL Special Interest Group (SIG) Occupational and Environmental Dermatology (OED) will organize a national workshop and symposium on 'contact dermatitis and photodermatology'at Decennial Memorial Hall of FMMC here on September 14.

Hemangi R Jerajani, regional director, International League of Dermatological Societies and Chembolli Lakshmi, professor, PSG Medical College, Coimbatore will be guests. Rev Fr Patrick Rodrigues, director, Father Muller Charitable Institution will preside over the function. Third Dr JN Shetty memorial oration will also be held as a tribute to the great doctor.
The speakers for the day will be the eminent doctors Kaushal Verma, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Shrutakirti, KMC Manipal, Pramod Kumar, KMC Mangalore, Sathish Pai, KMC Manipal, Smitha Prabhu, KMC Manipal, Nandakishore and Jacintha Martis from FMMC.
The workshop will reflect on the idea that will add new dimension to dermatology and also will help the participant in enriching and improving their skills in the field of Contact Dermatitis and Photodermatology. Over 200 dermatologists across the country are expected to participate in this programme, said Anjali Rai, one of the coordinators.
