Pejawar seer's successor is a BA graduate, an expert swimmer and a yoga exponent

MANGALURU: The successor of Vishwesha Teertha Seer is Vishwaprasanna Teertha. He is 34th in the lineage of the Pejavara Mutt, starting from Sri Adhokshaja Tirtharu, who was one of the direct disciples of Sri Madhvacharya.
Vishwaprasanna Teertha was born on March 3, 1964 at Pakshikere, Haleyangady, to a Shivalli Madhwa Brahmin family of Yamunamma and Krishna Bhat and his pre-sannyasa name was Devidas Bhat.
A BA graduate from Poorna Prajna College, Udupi, Vishwaprasanna is a yoga exponent and an expert swimmer. He has taught shastas to Kaniyooru Seer Vidyavallabha. He received sanyasa Deeksha in 1988, when he was 24. He also publishes a monthly magazine 'Achara Vichara'. He has established a goshala with 2000 cows at Neelavara near Kodavooru, Udupi.
A multi-linguist, he is nature lover. He also set up the Prahlada Gurukula which teaches Indian system of education as well as general education.
