The city crime branch probing the Sandhya Singh murder case have not been able to extract anything from Raghuveer Singh, arrested on the suspicion that he had killed his mother Sandhya Singh and disposed off her body.

MUMBAI: The city crime branch probing the Sandhya Singh murder case have not been able to extract anything from Raghuveer Singh, arrested on the suspicion that he had killed his mother Sandhya Singh and disposed off her body.
Raghuveer was arrested on Tuesday and was remanded to police custody till December 27. Sources said that Raghuveer he has completely rubbished the police suspicion theory and has completely denied any knowledge of the crime.

"While on run, he has been properly tutored and told how to overcome the police interrogation session. We are now using psychological interrogation techniques which we use to break some intelligent or clever criminals," said an officer. He said that they have got 10 days in hands and they hope they will able to break him if he had committed the crime or else police will have to file the chargesheet based on the circumstantial evidence like Arushi murder case.
Investigators on the first night grilled Raghuveer on the December 13 episode-where was he and Shreya, when his mother left home, on what basis he told different versions to different members of his family. He was subjected to questioning by three different officers. Different police officers kept on asking him same set of questions but in a different way. ``This type of sustain interrogations will break him soon if he is involved,'' said the officer. Raghuveer told police that Sandhya had went to bank on December 13 last year to deposit gold ornaments but almost all the ornaments were found intact in her locker, Raghuveer told his sister that she was sleeping in another flat, when two maids came in Raghuveer told that them that his mother wont be returning home as she had gone to Lalit's house in Juhu. Police want to know on what basis Raghuveer told maids that his mother wont come. Besides this there are witnesses who have told cops that Raghuveer often fought with his mother over money for drugs.
Sandhya Singh, wife of Indore based customs and central excise commissioner Jaiprakash Singh, went missing on December 13, 2012. She had left her Nerul home to go to a bank but never returned. Her skeletons were found on JAN 28, 2013 BY two British birdwatchers just opposite her NRI complex.
