Load shedding in Kalyan-Dombivli

Residents of Kalyan and Dombivli will have to face load shedding for 8-10 hours a day from February 10 to 12 due to the renovation work being carried out by the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (MSECL).

MUMBAI: Residents of Kalyan and Dombivli will have to face load shedding for 8-10 hours a day from February 10 to 12 due to the renovation work being carried out by the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (MSECL).
On Thursday, Kalyan will face power cuts from 7.30 am to 6 pm, while on Friday, work will be on from 8.30 am to 6 pm in Dombivli (W).

On Saturday, the work will go on from 10 am to 6 pm in Dombivli (E).
Due to major renovation work carried out by Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (MSECL) of changing old overhead wires at Kalyan and Dombivli city the residents will have to face load shading for around 8 to 10 hours in upcoming last three days in the both the city which will affect around lakhs people of the city.
The press note issued by MSEDCL state that the major renovation of electric overhead wires across the city will start on 10 January and it will finish on 12th January. As per work schedule, on Thursday Kalyan (east) and Kalyan (west) area will face load shading from 7.30 am to 6pm while on Friday work will start from 8.30 pm to 6pm at Dombivli (west) area. On Saturday last day the renovation work will start at Dombivli east area from 10 am to 6pm.
