Mumbai: Chandivali residents to hold ‘Jhoot Bolo’ cake cutting ceremony over BMC delay in completing 90-feet road connecting Jogeshwari-Vikhroli Link Road (JVLR) to Chandivali Farm Road

Mumbai: Frustrated that the BMC has still not paid heed to its request for completing the 90-feet road connecting Jogeshwari-Vikhroli Link Road (JVLR) to Chandivali Farm Road, the local resident association, Chandivali Citizens Welfare Association, is on Sunday holding a "Jhoot Bolo" cake-cutting ceremony. This event is to mark the two-year anniversary of BMC's unkept promise."Our question is, on what basis are they giving permission to new housing complexes in the locality when the planned public infrastructure is not being developed? New buildings and thousands of new flats are being built with insufficient access to the highways," said Mandeep Singh Makkar, Founder of the association.
