Mumbai: Shiv Sena MP Ravindra Waikar's car involved in road crash at Goregaon

MUMBAI: Shiv Sena MP Ravindra Waikar's car, driven by his chauffeur, was involved in a road-related crash at Goregaon East on Sunday night. Nobody was injured.Police said the incident occurred around 7.45 pm near the State Reserve Police Force grounds gate. A motorcyclist tried to overtake Waikar's car from the right. Waikar's driver swerved left to avoid the motorcyclist and ended up brushing a truck. This caused damage to Waikar's car, and its door handle broke. Waikar was inside the car but was unhurt.Vanrai Police charged the motorcyclist under the Motor Vehicles Act. They are examining CCTV footage before taking any further action.
