MYSORE: Monday's car blast on Ring Road near Rajivnagar was due to leakage of gas from cylinders that were being transported in the vehicle, according to police.
In a tragic incident, Wazid Baig, 40, a manager of a petrol bunk, was charred to death after the cylinders exploded inside the vehicle. Udayagiri police said two stoves and two cylinders, which were being transported in the car burst following the leakage.
