Nagpur: Modern Society celebrated
Krishna Janmashtami with great devotion and festivity by organising the traditional Gopal Kala Festival, led by environmentalist Gunjan Khandelwal with active support from society members and children.
The highlight of the celebration was the enthusiastic participation of the children, who not only engaged in the festivities but also learned the cultural and spiritual significance of Krishna Janmashtami and Gopal Kala from the elders of the society. Their active involvement infused the event with youthful energy while keeping alive the age-old traditions.
Children including Anaya Jasoria, Om Kukde, Isha Kukde, Durvank Dhoke, Manava Patki, Manasi Nagpure, Toshika Raut, Khushi, Sonu, and Ganesh wholeheartedly took part in the programme, making it a lively and memorable evening for all.
"The participation of children underscores our commitment to preserving traditions for future generations. While our Laddu Gopal grows older each year, his essence remains timeless," said chief organiser Gunjan Khandelwal.
The event concluded with prayers and offerings, reinforcing community bonding and devotion.
