NMIA to take off by September end
Navi Mumbai International Airport is likely to be inaugurated around September 30. Within a fortnight, it will begin operations with 60 daily flights, scaling up to 300 in six months.

Connecting NMIA by metro and train
Metro Lines 2 and 8 will link NMIA with Mumbai, while Navi Mumbai Metro Lines 1 and 2 will serve the eastern catchment. The CBD Belapur–Uran suburban railway line already supports staff and local passengers.
Waterways & 90 million dreams
A water terminal in Panvel Creek will connect coastal passengers and cargo via ferries. With all modes in sync, NMIA is poised to handle up to 90 million passengers annually, redefining air travel in India.
Mumbai's dual airport era
