We hope that certain limitations and obstacles would be cleared for constructions and redevelopment in Navi Mumbai," added Naik.
About 145 property dealers and builders have set up stalls at the exhibition. They said there has also been a rise in the number of people interested in buying properties in areas beyond Panvel. With the onset of the festive season, developers want to cash in on this and are confident that real estate deals will pick up even more.
Nearly 30% of the properties on sale at the exhibition are from areas in Raigad such as Pen, Alibaug, Neral and Karjat.
A director of one of the firms taking part in the exhibition said, "There are several areas for people to choose from the developing nodes and other areas in Raigad. We are mainly selling housing units such as flats and row houses in Kharghar."The builders believe that any property costing below Rs50 lakh will evince interest in buyers.
