NOIDA: The auto drivers’ union’s two-day strike demanding revision of current fare structure and relaxation of NCR permit norms concluded on Wednesday. Commuters bore the brunt of the protest for two days as most autos stayed off the roads.
Officials of the transport department said the union should have discussed their issues with them before going on strike.
“The strike inconvenienced commuters for two days. They should have discussed the issues with transport officials,” said Rachna Yaduvanshi, ARTO. The transport officials have informed the government about the bandh and demands of the auto union.
