BJP suspends five leaders
BJP MLA from Saharsa Sanjeev Jha, former Thakurganj MLA Awadh Bihari Singh, former Araria candidate Ajay Jha, Mahendra Mandal from Sikti and Shyamadeo Paswan (Banmakhi) have been suspended from the BJP for six years for their anti-party activities.
BJP vice-president-cum-spokesperson Sanjay Mayukh, in a press release issued here on Tuesday, said that the aforesaid persons have been suspended as they are contesting the assembly elections against the official candidates.
