Patna: A volunteer orientation programme was held under the joint aegis of the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of BD College, Patna, and Prem Youth Foundation. The initiative aimed at developing volunteer spirit, leadership skills, and instilling a strong sense of social responsibility among youth.
Ratna Amrit, principal of B D College, presided over the programme. In her address, she highly appreciated the efforts of the NSS unit and motivated students to actively engage in various social service activities. She also extended her congratulations to the students who have been selected for the prestigious Gandhi Fellowship.
The keynote speaker, Deepak Mandal, youth officer of the NSS, regional directorate, Patna, delivered an insightful lecture. He highlighted the important role of NSS in nation-building and encouraged students to make the most of this platform for personal growth and community service.
