Buxar: An FIR was lodged on Tuesday against four villagers following the suspicious death of an 11-year-old boy in Sarenja village under Rajpur police station area in Buxar district. The deceased was identified as Bhagelu Chauhan.
According to family members, the boy had gone out to play on Sunday evening but did not return home at night. Despite an extensive search by relatives and villagers, he was not found. On Monday morning, his body was found beneath sacks of wheat inside a local grain godown, triggering outrage among villagers and family members.
To protest the death, angry villagers blocked Chausa-Kochas main road and raised slogans against the police administration. The protesters alleged that the child was murdered. Following the protest, police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.
Based on a written complaint filed by the deceased’s mother, Vimala Devi, Rajpur police registered a murder case against four named accused—Sheru Rai, Sandeep Rai, Appu Rai and Brijmohan Rai— along with several unidentified persons.
In her complaint, Vimala alleged that her son was killed as part of a pre-planned conspiracy and that the body was concealed to destroy evidence.
