Tuljabhavani temple trustees issued notices

osmanabad: the charity department has issued show-cause notices to trustees of the shree tuljabhavani temple in tuljapur, seeking reasons why the board of trustees should not be dismissed on grounds of financial and administrative irregularities. the notices have been issued by latur division’s charity additional commissioner. the show-cause notice said the board of trustees did not submit financial statements to the charity commissioner’s office for the past 10 years. the trust has allegedly also not recorded its 3,000 acres of land with the charity department. the notice says the trustees have failed to record gold and silver ornaments, in possession of the temple, with the department.
