6 held for ransacking eve-teaser's house

RAJKOT: Six men who went on a rampage at a man's house, after he allegedly teased a woman, were arrested by city police on Saturday morning. Manoharsinh Jhala with five men forcibly entered Jeetu Sindhav's house in Devpara on Kothariya Road, Jeetu's brother Dharmesh Sindhav said in his complaint at Bhaktinagar police station. Not finding Jeetu there, they ransacked the place, broke windows and household goods, and set on fire Jeetu's motorcycle.
Along with Jhala, police arrested Vanrajsinh Jadeja, Aswin Patel, Rajendra Jadeja, Bhavesh Lohana and one other person. Meanwhile, police have apprehended Jeetu alias Jitiyo, a historysheeter, who had earlier been ordered not to enter Rajkot district by authorities. Yet, police have received several complaints against him and tip-offs that he has been staying at his house in the city.
Jhala told police that it was Jeetu who eve-teased his wife on Friday evening, while she was returning home with her children. "Jeetu, with another person, teased Jhala's wife on Kothariya Road. When Jhala was told about this, he went to his house to teach him a lesson, but didn't find him. He went there again on Saturday morning.source : sandesh
