Man stabs wife to death after quarrel in Gujarat

RAJKOT: Tired of frequent quarrels, a man allegedly stabbed his wife to death in Milpara locality of Porbandar on Monday. The accused, Nilesh Odedara (37) was arrested soon after he committed the crime.
Incidentally, Odedara and his wife Jaishree Odedara (42) were both listed bootleggers arrested in number of cases in the past.
“It was Jaishree's third marriage.They had got married one and a half years ago. Soon their relationship turned sour and led to frequent quarrels, during which both would beat up each other. On the fateful day, after a quarrel, Odedara stabbed Jaishree with a knife,” said S N Jadeja, inspector with Kamlabaug police station.
After stabbing Jaishree, Odedara fled from the spot. Their neighbours called 108 emergency ambulance service, but the paramedics declared Jaishree dead and called the cops.
“We booked Odedara for murder and are tracing him using his phone call records,” added Jadeja.
