RCCI vice-president Parth Ganatra, who wrote the letter, said: “There are many issues that need to be addressed to appreciate the honest tax payers.”
One of the issues is that there are many traders who are involved in one transaction under GST regime and everybody claims input tax credit (ITC).

However, in case of any irregularity, the last person who did GST transaction is asked to reverse the ITC whether he was involved in the irregularity or not.
Another issue is that if any trader’s GST number is cancelled ab initio, the person who claimed the credit from the trader is being punished. The government should collect the amount of this credit from the person whose number is cancelled. TNN
