JICA Survey Daltonganj: Natural Resources & Climate Change Impact on Forest Dwellers

The JICA team will arrive at the Medininagar forest division on May 18.
Explaining the obhective of the survey, Medininagar divisional forest officer (DFO) Satyam Kumar said, “The survey will facilitate proper utilisation of natural resources and its conservation with regard to upliftment of the forest dwellers against the threat of climate change.” Meanwhile, principal chief conservator of forest (PCCF) Sanjeev Kumar further said, “JICA will conduct the survey in 11 villages that have been shortlisted across different forest ranges of Jharkhand. Moreover, the Rud village in the south division of Palamu Tiger Reserve (PTR), will also be part of the survey.”
