Chatra: A 13-year-old boy was killed after the two-wheeler he was riding collided with a tractor near Marangi village on Sunday. He was carrying two goats in his vehicle which were also killed.
Eyewitnesses said the collision was so severe that the 13-year-old, identified as Prem Kumar, died on the spot.

Prem had gone to his maternal grandmother’s house in Marangi village to attend a wedding.
The tractor's driver fled the scene, leaving the vehicle behind. Police refused to comment on the fact that the two-wheeler was driven by an underage driver.
The officer-in-charge of Giddhaur police station, Shiva Yadav, said the tractor was reportedly owned by Jitendra Saw, a resident of Pathalgada. He said that the police has initiated an investigation.
The victim’s family demanded compensation from the govt. Yadav said the body was sent for post-mortem to Chatra Sadar Hospital.
