Shimla: The Sanyukt Kisan Manch (SKM) has expressed serious concerns about the shortage of fertilizers in Himachal Pradesh and steep increase in its prices along with rise in prices of seeds, insecticides, fungicides and other items. It has also demanded immediate release of about Rs 65 crore of pending arrears of apple growers.
The manch has demanded from the government to immediately make available all types of fertilizers in the state and take concrete steps to reduce the prices of fertilizers and insecticides.
It also warned that if the government fails to act, they will be forced to launch a stir. TNN
