NEW DELHI: The Lok Sabha election for the Bhiwandi constituency in Maharashtra, one of the state's 48 constituencies, is set to take place this year. The Election Commission of India officially announced the voting and result dates on March 16.
Bhiwandi Lok Sabha: DateThe voting for the Bhiwandi Lok Sabha Constituency Election 2024 is scheduled for May 20th, which falls under Phase 5 of the election process.
The counting of votes and the announcement of results will take place on June 4.
Following the announcement of the election schedule, candidates from major parties and independent candidates will begin the process of filing their nominations. Some political parties have already declared their candidate lists, while others will announce their candidates as the election progresses through its various phases.

BJP emerged victorious from the Bhiwandi Lok Sabha constituency, securing 523,583 votes. Taware Suresh Kashinath of the
INC received 367,254 votes, losing to Patil by a margin of 156,329 votes.
