Std XII student hangs self with scarf at Kalwa

KALWA: A 17-year-old girl from Kalwa was found dead under mysterious circumstances inside her flat at Gaondevi, Kalwa on Thursday morning.
The deceased, a Std XII commerce student, hanged herself using a scarf. The deceased and her sister were alone at home when the incident took place. “Around 11am, the deceased went inside her room and locked the door. After a few minutes, her younger sister knocked at the door but got no response. She rushed to her neighbors for help. The neighbors came and broke the door only to find the girl hanging,” said a police officer.
The Kalwa police were immediately summoned and the body was sent to Thane civil hospital for post-mortem.
