Trichy/Madurai: Chief minister M K Stalin on Friday laid foundation stones for three mini Tidel parks -- in Tuticorin, Thanjavur and Salem -- via videoconferencing from Chennai.
According to a statement, these mini Tidel parks will create IT-related jobs for graduates in Tuticorin, Salem and Thanjavur regions. They would also pave the way for the socio-economic development of the regions and would help the state government to progress.
In Thanjavur, the new mini Tidel park would come up on 3.40 acre land at Pillaiyarpatti at an estimated cost of Rs 30.5 crore. It will have ground plus three floors and will be 55,000sqft in size.
The new facility will help thousands of educated youths, especially women living in Thanjavur district and its surrounding areas.

Dinesh Ponraj Oliver inspected the site of the proposed mini Tidel park along with Thiruvaiyaru MLA
Durai Chandrasekaran, and mayor S Ramanathan.
The mini Tidel park in Tuticorin will be constructed at a cost of 32.5 crore. The 63,100sqft building will come up in 4.16 acres.
It will have ground plus four floors. The mini Tidel park in Salem will be constructed at a cost of 29.5 crore.
