VADODARA: Gujarat chief minister Anandiben Patel addressed the residents of Karjan during her visit to the Vadodara district on Saturday. Patel was in Karjan to inaugurate multiple facilities in the town and surrounding villages.
During her address at Karjan, Patel said that the youth should make the most of the state's industrial growth. "The state has become a hub for investments, especially those from multi-national organizations.
The youth of the state needs to develop their talents. Every youth should strive to attain multiple skills to meet the career demands in this competitive age," Patel said.
Patel also said that the state is on its way to achieve the highest recognition on the global platform. "We have overcome many hurdles and have successfully set the example of being a model state," she added during her speech. She also motivated the youth to enrol themselves at the various Industrial Training Institutes in order to develop their industrial skills.
Anandiben Patel during her visit inaugurated schemes and facilities worth around Rs 11.6 crores. She inaugurated new primary school buildings at Koliyad and Sadhli villages.
Patel also announced subsidies to the tune of Rs 4,400 crores on electricity for the farmers along with a subsidy of Rs 500 crore towards drip irrigation.
