GORAKHPUR: The management of HP Defence Academy, Nanda Nagar, on Friday organised a felicitation ceremony for the students who won top honours at the Inter-School Taekwondo Championship held on April 5 at Prisha International School, Maniram.
Competing against participants from several reputed schools across the region, Arshita Dubey of Class VII and Prashun Dubey of Class VIII delivered outstanding performances to secure gold medals in their respective categories.
Their achievement highlighted both skill and determination amid strong competition.
Director Colonel BP Shahi and Archana Shahi honoured the winners at the event, commending their discipline and perseverance, described the victories because of sustained effort and focused training.
CEO Kamal Thapa, while addressing the students, said the achievement should inspire others to actively participate in sports alongside academics. He emphasised the importance of physical fitness and all-round development.
Principal Neelam Pandey also congratulated the winners, stating that the academy continues to promote a balance between academic excellence and extracurricular success.
