Resolving public grievances is govt’s priority: CM
Gorakhpur: Asking officials to ensure justice is delivered without any discrimination, chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday asserted that addressing public grievances is the top priority of the Uttar Pradesh govt.
Interacting with around 150 people from various districts during the Janata Darshan held at the Gorakhnath Temple, Yogi directed officials to deal with complaints swiftly and with full sensitivity.
He also emphasized that eligible beneficiaries must receive the benefits of welfare schemes without delay, the needy should be provided proper medical care, and strict action must be taken against land mafias and illegal encroachments.
During the interaction, a woman sought financial help for her daughter’s marriage due to poor economic conditions. Informing her about the Mukhyamantri Samuhik Vivah Yojana, which provides Rs 1 lakh assistance per couple, Yogi asked officials to complete the formalities.
Several people also requested financial assistance for the treatment of serious illnesses. The chief minister assured them that no treatment would stop due to a lack of funds and directed officials to quickly prepare estimates for advanced medical care so assistance could be released without delay.
Directives were also issued for the swift resolution of matters related to revenue and law and order.
Earlier, Yogi visited the temple cowshed, fed jaggery to cattle and instructed caretakers to ensure proper care of the animals during the summer heat.
