VIJAYAWADA: Several corporate companies are stepping up to assist the Andhra Pradesh government in its flood relief efforts. Responding to the severe drinking water shortage in flood-affected areas, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB) has come forward with significant support.
In a bid to help alleviate the crisis, HCCB mobilized resources to provide clean drinking water to flood victims. The company supplied 60,000 Kinley water bottles, each containing 1,000 ml, to the AP State Disaster Response & Fire Services Department, ensuring timely distribution of essential supplies.
The contribution was formally handed over by HCCB representatives to
Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh at the Real-Time Governance Center in Vijayawada. This initiative is part of the state's comprehensive strategy to secure basic necessities for those impacted by the disaster.
The Andhra Pradesh government expressed gratitude to HCCB for their support and urged other corporate entities to contribute to relief efforts during times of crisis.
